Cardinale Tribute: Josh Gottheimer

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff)  issued the following statement on the death of longtime State Senator Gerald Cardinale:

“Marla and I were saddened to learn of the death of Senator Gerald Cardinale. Gerry, a lifelong public servant, began his career in 1967 on the Demarest Board of Education.  Since then, Gerry was elected to the NJ State Assembly and later the State Senate, becoming one of the longest serving Senators in New Jersey history. I was honored to work with Gerry on a host of issues important to our shared constituents over the years, and he always put fighting for Jersey first. We send our deepest condolences to Gerry’s wife Carole, their children, and grandchildren.”
