State Sen. Jean Stanfield (R-Westampton) and Assemblymen Michael Torrissi (R-Hammonton) and Brandon Umba (R-Hainesport) released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:
“We are profoundly sad to hear of the passing of Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver. The Lt. Governor blazed a trail in Trenton for women and minorities through her tireless work ethic. Days like this, it’s very important to put partisan politics aside and respect the life of a fighter for the people of New Jersey.”
