A large group of influential Sussex County Republicans, including one of the state’s most conservative lawmakers, State Sen. Parker Space (R-Wantage), have endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for the Republican nomination for governor.

Ciattarelli also won the backing of Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia (R-Franklin), Sheriff Mike Strada, County Commissioners Jill Space, Chris Carney, and Alan Henderson, Republican State Committeeman Billy Marotta, GOP Vice Chair Barbara Holstein, Frankford Mayor David Silverthorne, and Hal Wirths, a former assemblyman and commissioner of Labor.  Also backing Ciattarelli is Assemblyman Mike Inganamort (R-Chester), who represents Sussex in the legislature.

“New Jersey’s increasingly radical Democrats are destroying New Jersey with liberal policies that attack taxpayers, parents, police, entrepreneurs, gun owners, farmers, and all the other good people in our state who work hard and play by the rules,” the group of Republicans stated.  “We need a governor in Trenton who can disrupt and change this broken system and make New Jersey great again – and Jack Ciattarelli is the right person for the job.”

Ciattarelli also picked up the endorsements of State Sen. Latham Tiver (R-Southampton), Assemblyman Mike Torrissi (R-Hammonton), and former Assemblyman Brandon Umba (R-Medford).

“From his support of law enforcement and pledge to cut utility costs for all residents; to his firm stance against reckless overdevelopment and his commitment to protecting public access to Wharton State Forest, Jack understands the issues that impact our communities and has concrete plans to address them,” the three South Jersey Republicans said.
