Helmy Departure: Mike Testa

State Sen. Michael Testa, Jr. issued the following statement today on the departure of George Helmy as Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff:

“George was incredibly professional and will be missed dearly by members of the Legislature. Although we did not always agree on policy, I always appreciated how easily we could communicate our legislative needs with George.  Over the last few years, George and I have developed a true friendship. I know that he will continue to do great things for the people of New Jersey and beyond.”
