It’s a couples night for Donald Trump and Phil Murphy.
The White House announced that president and governor, along with First Lady Melania Trump and First Lady Tammy Murphy, will have dinner in Bedminster tonight.
Trump and Murphy will “discuss the State’s response efforts to COVID-19, progress to reopen, and their shared interest for improving our Nation’s infrastructure,” according to White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere.
This is Murphy’s second face-to-face with Trump in six weeks.
Murphy met with Trump in the Oval Office on April 30 and received praise from the Republican president.
“They have a wonderful man that’s running it, who’s — he runs it with heart and with brains, and he — he’s done a terrific job,” Trump said. “We are together. We are working closely.”

Talked about many things, including the opening of the beautiful Garden State, getting people back to work, and rebuilding America’s infrastructure with projects like the Portal North Bridge, which I have given authorization to proceed!”
