Gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli picked up endorsements from key Morris County Republicans on Friday, including Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Denville), six county officials and 17 mayors.

Announcing their support of Ciattarelli were County Clerk Ann Grossi and freeholders Doug Cabana, Kathy DeFilippo, John Krickus,  Tayfun Selen and Stephen Shaw.

Also on the endorsement list: the GOP mayors of Chester Borough, Chester Township, Denville, Florham Park, Hanover, Harding, Jefferson, Kinnelon, Mine Hill, Montville, Mount Arlington, Netcong, Pequannock, Rockaway Borough, Roxbury, Washington and Wharton; Morris GOP Victory PAC Chairman Rob Zwigard; and former Assemblyman C. Richard Kamin (R-Mount Olive).

Sheriff James Gannon and Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce (R-Parsippany) had announced their backing of Ciattarelli earlier this week.

“As a West Point Graduate and Army Officer I recognize great leadership when I see it,” Bergen said.  “Jack Ciattarelli represents the type of leader that we need in New Jersey. He is the right candidate, at the right time, to lead us to victory in November. Jack’s combination of commonsense conservative ideas and small business success is the right recipe to make sure Phil Murphy is one and done on ’21.”
