The problems for beleaguered New Jersey Schools Development Authority CEO Lizette Delgado-Polanco continue to grow.
After mistakenly releasing private information about their employees last year, Delgado-Polanco promoted the acting human resources director who was responsible for the data breach, The (Bergen) Record reports.
Delgado-Polanco is already under fire for hiring friends and family to high-paying jobs at the authority, sometimes terminating career employees to create jobs.
Miguelina Diaz had worked as a human resources field director for SMN, a janitorial services company that is represented by the union Delgado used to work for. Her salary is $127,500-per-year.
The data breach included employee social security numbers, the Record said.
