NJ PBS will air a retrospective special on Politifax editor and New Jersey politics expert Nick Acocella Wednesday, memorializing the political giant.
The special will air at 8 p.m. Wednesday on a network where Acocella hosted five seasons of Pasta & Politics, a show that saw him cook while interviewing New Jersey’s politerati.
Starting in the 1990s, Acocella edited Politifax, a weekly report on New Jersey politics that was initially transmitted via fax before later switching to email.
He died last June at the age of 77.
NJ Spotlight News chief political correspondent Michael Aron, a longtime friend of Acocella’s, will host the special, which will feature segments from his show and montages of Acocella in action.
