John Froonjian has been named executive director of the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy, effective tomorrow.
The Stockton University Board of Trustees approved the permanent appointment. Froonjian had been heading the center on an interim basis since April.
“I am excited for this opportunity to build on the legacy of Ambassador Hughes and I will work to expand the Center’s impact on public policy and civil civic engagement,” said Froonjian.
Froonjian spent 32 years at The Press of Atlantic City as a reporter and editor, including a stint at the statehouse.
