Rep. Albio Sires raised $52,150 in the first two weeks of October, according to pre-general election campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
About half that money, $25,000, came from political committees. The remaining $27,150 was given by individual donors.
The incumbent went into the final weeks of the race with $171,466 in his war chest, having spent $11,114 between Oct. 1 and Oct. 14.
Jason Mushnick, Sires’ Republican challenger, has not filed any reports with the FEC.
The district is safely Democratic.
