Congressional candidate David Richter called for tax cuts for individuals and businesses along with expanded small business loans and college refunds to deal with the COVID-19 crisis.
“The COVID-19 crisis is currently devasting residents and businesses alike throughout the Third District and across our entire nation,” said Richter. “In order to ease the burden on everyone, I am proposing a real, commonsense plan that will provide immediate relief to those who most desperately need it.”
Richter faces former Burlington County Freeholder Kate Gibbs in the Republican primary to take on Rep. Andy Kim.
He has the line in Ocean County, while Gibbs has the line in Burlington.
The growing threat posed by the novel coronavirus has not cooled tempers in what is already acrimonious contest.
