Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden) has been given a seat on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee for the 117th Congress.
Norcross already serves on the Armed Services and Education and Labor Committees. He is the chairman of the Armed Services Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee.
“On the Committee, I’ll work to make sure the United States remains a leader in the research and development that drives the production of advanced technologies and innovative achievements the U.S. is known for, like landing the first person on the moon,” Norcross said. “I look forward to working with Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson and the rest of the members of the committee in fighting for environmental justice, securing America’s spot as a leader in space exploration and promoting scientific research to solve our biggest challenges.”
The South Jersey congressman was assigned to the Energy Subcommittee and the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee.
