A group of high-profile conservatives have endorsed Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner for U.S. Senate, joining former President Donald Trump in taking sides in the New Jersey GOP primary.
Serrano Glassner enters the final two weeks of her campaign against hotelier Curtis Bashaw with the backing of Donald Trump, Jr., Roger Stone, former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, former Acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker, North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, former U.S. Ambassador to Germany Rick Grenell, Rep. Matt Gaetz, and the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC).
“Since President Trump endorsed me for the U.S. Senate at his historic Wildwood, New Jersey rally, we have heard from the Republican Party’s top leaders who are anxious to help us flip this seat from the corrupt, extremist Democrats,” Serrano Glassner said. “I’m humbled by the endorsements of so many national GOP leaders who are clearly uniting behind my campaign as we head into the June 4 primary.”
Bashaw appeared to be the front-runner after securing fourteen organization lines, but Trump’s May 11 endorsement could wind up as a game-changer in what might be the last county line primary in New Jersey history.
“Now is the time to focus our energies on securing a Senate majority to help President Trump implement his America First agenda that includes securing the border, fixing the broken Biden economy, replacing the corrupt political establishment, routing out the Deep State, and providing our total support for Israel,” stated Serrano Glassner.
