U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez will spend part of Thursday afternoon serving Thanksgiving meals to needy families.
He’ll first make a stop at Eva’s Village in Paterson at 11:30 a.m.
After that, he’ll go to Bergen County Housing Health and Human Services in Hackensack for a 1 p.m. stop. Then at 2 p.m., he’ll be at Hackensack’s Christ Church doing the same.
Menendez was re-elected to a third term in the U.S. Senate on November 6, defeating Republican Bob Hugin by eleven points, 54%-43%, after a brutal contest. He is not up for re-election until 2024.
