Tom Malinowski took his campaign to unseat Republican Rep. Leonard Lance to Summit early this morning, holding a roundtable with a group of teachers to discuss education issues.
”We have good schools because we invest in teachers,” Malinowski said. “It’s expensive, but it’s better than the alternative.”
Malinowski said New Jersey faces a deliberate effort to punish New Jersey for choices the state has made.
The former Assistant U.S. Secretary of State under President Obama sharply criticized Lance for his ties to a group allied with the Koch brothers.
”We see an effort by Americans for Prosperity trying to bust public employee unions,” Malinowski said. “it’s going to be a very intense ride for the next two months.”
Malinowski told the group that Lance is running a campaign of “fear and smear” and accused the five-term congressman of trying to divert the attention of voters to extraneous issues.

Oh pulezzz?
Republicans? Run fear and smear gutter political campaigns?
Oh say it ain’t soooo?
