Amy Kennedy launched the second television of her campaign Friday.
The 30-second spot features voiceover from Kennedy and maintains a mostly positive tone, though it attacks Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-Dennis) over his defection to the Republican Party.
“Before COVID, too many people were struggling. Now we have a full-blown emergency. Real leaders serve the community not themselves,” Kennedy says in the ad as video of Van Drew shaking President Donald Trump’s hand plays.
The ad also includes a pledge to focus on health care in Congress.
It’ll run on broadcast and cable networks throughout the second congressional district, though Kennedy’s campaign did not say how much they spent on either buy.
