GOP super PAC hits Malinowski on federal spending

Congressional Leadership Fund says ‘no one blows taxpayer cash’ like NJ-7 Democratic congressman

A super PAC allied with congressional Republicans has a new TV ad slamming Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Ringoes) for supporting big spending measures as the congressman from New Jersey’s 7th district.

In “Blow,” the Congressional Leadership Fund uses a gray-haired actor to portray Malinowski operating a leaf blower – the device is labeled “Spend-O-Matic” – spewing out cash on expenditures like increasing the size of the Internal Revenue Service.

Script: “No one blows taxpayer cash like Tom Malinowski.  He voted for a bill that gave millions to golf courses, ski slopes and luxury resorts and another billion dollars of stimulus checks for prisoners.  Even worse, he sponsored a bill to raise your payroll taxes nearly 20%.  Don’t like it?  Malinowski voted to double the size of the IRS and you could pay.  It’s time to pull the plug on Tom Malinowski.  Congressional Leadership Fund is responsible for the content of this advertising.”

Malinowski faces former Senate Republican Minority Leader Tom Kean, Jr., who is not mentioned in the ad.

This was one of 22 new ads in 21 districts across the U.S. launched by the CLF today.

“Americans are seeing first-hand the consequences of Democrat rule: soaring crime, skyrocketing inflation and bailouts for elites on the backs of working families,” said Calvin Moore, the CLF communications director. “Americans cannot afford more of Democrats’ failed policies.”
