Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali hired Olympus Strategies founder Rich Castaldo to run his congressional campaign.

“Rich is an amazing digital strategist and campaign manager,” Ghassali said. “His proven track record in tough primary elections gives him my full confidence to plan and execute a cutting-edge campaign that will deliver victory in next year’s primary and then onto the general where we plan on sending Josh Gottheimer into retirement.”

Ghassali is one of three Republicans seeking the nod to take on Rep. Josh Gottheimer.

Also running are former investment banker Frank Pallotta and former Cresskill Councilman John McCann, who unsuccessfully attempted to oust Gottheimer last year.

“I’m excited to join Mike Ghassali’s campaign, he’s done a phenomenal job as the Mayor of Montvale, lowering taxes, attracting new businesses, and bringing in thousands of jobs. He will continue to deliver these types of results for the people but on a larger scale as their next Congressman. He truly cares about the people he represents.” Castaldo said. “I look forward to working with him to develop and execute a campaign that ends in sending Josh Gottheimer packing.”
