The Communications Workers of American have endorsed nine Democratic incumbents for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, but has taken a pass on Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff) in New Jersey’s 5th district.

The CWA is backing incumbents Bonnie Watson Coleman, Andy Kim, Donald Norcross, Tom Malinowski, Frank Pallone, Bill Pascrell, Donald Payne, Jr., Mikie Sherrill, and Albio Sires.

“New Jersey is blessed with an amazing delegation of Members of Congress who stand up for working families everyday. And we are excited to maintain our support for these candidates” said Dennis Trainor, Vice President for CWA District 1.

Gottheimer faces a primary challenge from Glen Rock councilwoman Arati Kreibich.

The union, one of the most politically powerful in the state, did not endorse anyone in the 5th district.
