Progressive activist Russ Cirincione has raised $8,976 for his Democratic primary challenge against Rep. Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-Long Branch), the chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee.
Cirincione has spent $1,451 and has $7,524 cash-on-hand.
A senior attorney at the New York State Division of Housing and Community, Cirincione is one of four Democrats mounting challenges to Pallone in the Democratic primary – all from the left.
Pallone defeated Javahn Walker in the 2018 Democratic primary by 19,851 votes, 85%-14%.
