U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez doesn’t expect New Jersey to benefit from a fundraiser former Gov. Chris Christie’s hosting for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell this weekend.
“It would be nice if Sen. McConnell would speak to the Secretary of Transportation and get us greenlighted on our new trans-Hudson tunnels that are so critical to New Jersey,” he said. “It would be nice if Sen. McConnell would ultimately help us in restoring the SALT tax deduction that we lost, and it would be nice if Gov. Christie, if he’s going to host him, would be using the opportunity to help New Jersey. But I don’t think that’s what’s going to happen at that fundraiser.”
Christie will host a fundraiser for McConnell’s Senate re-election campaign in Mendham Sunday afternoon.
The existence of the fundraiser was first reported by InsiderNJ.
Tickets to the event will cost at least $2,800.
The former governor lives in Mendham.
“You dont have to live in Kentucky to vote against McConnell ”

Hopefully Moscow Mitch is going down the same drain as failed governor incumbent Bevin. Kentucky is sick of its corrupt Trump bootlicker pols.
