Republican House challenger Rosemary Becchi raised $417,238.07 in the third quarter of 2020, according to campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Becchi brought in $255,287.78 from individual contributions, $3,750 from party organizations and $27,528 from political committees.
She reported $26,593.27 in in-kind contributions for her campaign, including for $7090.16 for food and beverages and $7,277.95.
She also loaned her campaign an additional $76,840, bringing her personal financial stake in the campaign to $226,840, and transferred $27,223.26 from her primary campaign account.
She went into October with $287,616.95 in her war chest, having spent $430,273.83 in the third quarter.
Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair) raised a little more than $1.5 million between July 1 and Oct. 1. She has about $4 million in her war chest.
The above fundraising totals do not include independent expenditures made for or against either candidate, nor do they include spending by candidates’ political action committees.
There are 8,088 more Democrats than Republicans in the 11th district. When Sherrill won the seat in 2018, Republicans had a 6,159-voter registration edge.
