Vice President returning to N.J. on Saturday for DNC fundraiser in Princeton

Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Princeton on Saturday as the headliner of a high-dollar fundraiser for the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, a political committee affiliated with the Democratic National Committee.

Ticket prices range from $10,000-per-person up to $250,000-per-couple.

This will be Harris’ second trip to New Jersey in less than three weeks.  She was in Atlantic City on July 20 to address the NAACP convention and participate in a roundtable on reproductive rights with acting Attorney General Matt Platkin and others.

It’ not clear whether money raised by Harris in Princeton will remain New Jersey to boost Democratic congressional candidates, or if these are export dollars aimed at helping Democratic U.S. Senate and House candidates across the U.S.
