Quinton Mayor Marjorie Sperry has lost the Republican nomination for her township committee seat to Ralph Warfle.
Warfle leads with 177 votes, followed by Sperry with 49 votes, followed by Larry Winkels with 32 votes.
This brings Sperry’s 12-year sint in local politics to an end.
Quinton is solidly Republican; Donald Trump carried it by 35 points in 2024.
