Mendham Borough mayor wins close GOP primary

Incumbent James Kelly narrowly won the Republican nomination for Mayor of Mendham, beating out former mayor Neil Henry 

Kelly leads with 363 votes, followed by Henry’s 347, a 51%-49% margin.

Last year, Kelly took over as mayor when Christine Serrano Glassner resigned to take a post in Donald Trump’s White House.  

Mendham Borough has become a swing town over the past few years. Kamala Harris carried Mendham Borough by three points in 2024, and Jack Ciattarelli carried Mendham Borough by two points last year 

Democrats did not file a mayoral candidate this year.
