Millennials for NJ, a political action committee founded in 2019 to help young Demcoratic candidates win public office, is hosting an online contest for their March Millennial of the Month.

The three-way race features a contest between Monmouth County Young Democrats president Samantha Minchello, Moorestown Councilman Quinton Law, and Hawthorne Democratic Municipal Co-Chairman Pete Oneglia.

A former aide to Gov. Phil Murphy, the 31-year-old Minchello worked at the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance before to Direct Development in 2019.

Law, 23, was recently appointed to fill a vacant seat on the township council.  An aide to U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Law has become the youngest and first Black to serve as a councilman in Moorestown.

In addition to heading the local Democratic party, Oneglia is the general manager of InsiderNJ and the owner of TapInto Hawthorne.
