Auth backs Lebovics for Senate nomination

Assemblyman Robert Auth (R-Old Tappan) endorsed Bob Lebovics in the GOP primary for Senate.

Lebovics, an Englewood physician, shares a home county of Bergen with Auth. Lebovics is one of four Republicans seeking his party’s nomination to take on Senator Cory Booker this November.

“I’ve known Bob for at least twenty years, he is the candidate that offers Republicans the best opportunity to win in November,” Auth wrote in his endorsement. “Please join me in filling out your vote by mail ballot for U.S. Senate and vote for Dr. Bob Lebovics.”

Lebovics was not on the ballot at the Bergen County GOP convention, as he joined the race too late to qualify for that endorsement.
