Oliver Tribute: Matt Conlon

West Milford Township Councilman Matthew P. Conlon released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver:

“I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of New Jersey’s second Lieutenant Governor  Sheila Y. Oliver. Lt. Gov. Oliver was a ferocious advocate for her constituents throughout her career as a school board member, freeholder, Assemblywoman, Speaker, and Lieutenant Governor. Her decorated career in public service opened many doors for countless leaders who have followed and will continue to follow for generations to come. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort in all of the happy memories they shared with her. “
