Dunn leads for first time in 25th district Assembly race.

Assemblywoman Aura Dunn (R-Mendham) has now taken a narrow lead in a special election for State Assembly in the 25th district after more than 8,000 more votes were counted in Morris County.

Dunn now leads Democrat Darcy Draeger by 608 votes, 43,725 to 43,117, 50.4%-49.6%.

In the State Senate race, incumbent Anthony M. Bucco (R-Boonton) expanded his lead over Democrat Rupande Mehta to a 3,24-vote margin.

Draeger was 865 votes ahead this morning, while Bucco was up 1,177.
