FAMILIES DEMAND ACTION
It is an outrage that more than 7,000 residents and staff of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities in New Jersey have died from COVID-19. That is nearly half of all coronavirus related deaths in the state. Yet many measures to stop this tragedy and protect residents and staff are still not in place. The Governor and New Jersey legislators need to take action now and enact a package of bills that will help protect residents and staff at nursing homes and long-term care facilities, stem the loss of life and keep families connected.
