Chief of Staff to the Governor of New Jersey George Helmy, Assemblywoman-elect Beth Sawyer (R-Woolwich) and Passaic County Commissioner John Bartlett joined host David Wildstein to on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, November 20.
Helmy became Gov. Phil Murphy’s chief of staff in 2019 after serving as state director to U.S. Senator Cory Booker and working for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg. He’s worked in the private sector for two Fortune 100 companies.
Sawyer and fellow Republican Bethanne McCarthy-Patrick ousted two incumbent assemblymen on November 2. The owner of her own real estate brokerage firm, Sawyer served on the Woolwich Zoning Board and the Joint Land Use Committee.
Bartlett, recently re-elected to his fourth term on the Passaic County Board of Commissioners, is a former Associated Press reporter and Starbucks Barista who attended Harvard Law School and is now a partner at a prominent New Jersey law firm.
Wildstein is the host of the New Jersey Globe.
