Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli, Senate Majority Conference Leader Vin Gopal (D-Long Branch), and Monmouth County Commissioner and GOP congressional candidate Sue Kiley joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, January 22.

Ciattarelli came within three points of ousting Gov. Phil Murphy in the November 2021 election and has said he plans to seek the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2025.  A former three-term assemblyman from Somerset County, Ciattarelli served as a Somerset County freeholder and Branchburg council president before his election to the legislature in 2011.  He is a businessman and certified public accountant

Gopal was re-elected to his second term in the New Jersey State Senate in 2021 and is now the Majority Conference Leader and the chairman of the Senate Education Committee.   He was elected in 2017, unseating three-term incumbent Jennifer Beck by a 54%-46% margin.  A former Monmouth County Democratic Chairman, Gopal served on the New Jersey Congressional Redistricting Commission.

Kiley is seeking the Republican nomination to challenge House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-Long Branch) in New Jersey’s 6th district.  A former nurse and health care sales representative, Kiley is a former mayor of Hazlet.  She was re-elected to her second term as a Monmouth County Commissioner in 2021 with 61% of the vote.

Wildstein is the host of the New Jersey Globe.
