New Jersey Republicans are already fundraising off the Biden presidency.

“It is no surprise that after two days in office, Joe Biden is already pushing his radical liberal agenda, but now he’s threatening our energy independence and killing jobs with Green New Deal type policies,” NJ GOP Executive Director Phil Valenziano said in a fundraising email.

The move follows Biden executive orders that commanded the revocation of a permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline, a review of all environmental agency actions taken under former President Donald Trump’s one-term administration and reversing a series of Trump orders that weakened environmental regulations, among other things.

“Donate now to save jobs,” the email said.

The move is unsurprising. Democrats made similar fundraising calls leveraging Trump’s presidency at various points throughout his tenure.

“The Biden Administration has only just begun,” Valenziano said. “We can’t let them do more damage to the hardworking men and women of New Jersey, who are just trying to provide for their families.”
