Americans for Prosperity and Jersey 1st will discuss the effect of President Joe Biden’s administration on New Jersey this weekend, with an event on Saturday in Lake Hopatcong.

AFP Northeast Director Ross Connelly and Jersey 1st founder Rosemary Becchi, will lead the discussion, which will take place between 11 AM and 1 PM at the Jefferson Dinner.

Americans for Prosperity has launched an eight-figure ad campaign aimed at holding Members of Congress accountable for “unchecked government spending.”

“President Biden loves this economy so much he’s named it after himself—Bidenomics. But while Biden thinks this economy is the American Dream, Americans struggling to pay for gas and groceries know it’s a nightmare,” said Akash Chouule, AFP’s government affairs vice president.  “Bidenomics is an absolute train wreck. Runaway government spending unleashed the highest levels of inflation in four decades and squeezed family budgets to the breaking point. Now hardworking Americans are paying more but getting less.”

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair), who faced Becchi in the 2020 House race, is one of 31 lawmakers targeted by the grassroots campaign.
