Trenton Clerk Dwayne Harris will step down from his post later this month.
“It’s been an honor to serve Trentonians in our State’s Capital over these years. I want to make sure that I thank every member of my office, who have made my job a pleasure,” Harris said. “Trenton deserves only the best, and most dedicated, public servants.”
The clerk’s resignation was first reported by The Trentonian.
Harris will stay in his position until May 22. He’s held the job since July 2017.
“Dwayne has been an exemplary civil servant selflessly serving Council City residents,” Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora said. “It’s often a thankless but vital job.”
