Republicans Devon Morton and Jim Daly defeat Democratic challenger Alexander Howard, while Mayor Kimberly Eulner wins another term unopposed, preserving Republican control of borough government

Republicans Devon Morton and Jim Daly won election to the Shrewsbury Borough Council, defeating Democratic challenger Alexander Howard. Republican Mayor Kimberly Eulner also secured another term without opposition, receiving 1,390 votes.

Morton received 1,138 votes, while Daly received 1,115. Howard received 935.

Howard, a social worker, was the only Democratic candidate in the council race, leaving Republicans with two candidates for the two available seats.

The victories preserve Republican control of all six seats on the Borough Council. Eulner, a former assemblywoman, will continue serving as mayor.

Shrewsbury Borough has been closely divided in recent top-of-ticket elections. Kamala Harris carried the borough by 1.5 points in 2024, while Jack Ciattarelli won by a single vote in the 2025 gubernatorial election.
