Senate Majority Conference Leader Vin Gopal (D-Long Branch) said that he will self-quarantine after being exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I feel fine and currently have no symptoms but in accordance with CDC guidelines, I will be quarantining for 14 days, including not attending next week’s Senate session,” Gopal said.
Gopal said he’s awaiting results of a COVID test.
Earlier today, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Nicolas Scutari (D-Linden) said he is also under quarantine after learning that he was exposed to someone who tested positive.
