Burlington County Republicans will back former Palmyra Mayor Michelle Arnold against State Sen. Troy Singleton (D-Delran).

Douglas Dillon, a retired career Department of Transportation official, and pharmacist Joseph Jesuele will join Arnold on the Republican ticket as Assembly candidates in the safely Democratic seventh legislative district.

They’ll face Assemblywoman Carol Murphy (D-Mount Laurel) and Assemblyman Herb Conaway (D-Moorestown) in the general.

“This year we need to elect Jack Ciattarelli as our next governor, and we also need to deliver him a Republican majority in the legislature,” Burlington County Republican Chairman Sean Earlen said. “We can accomplish that by taking back seats right here in Burlington County. I’m confident an Arnold-Dillon-Jesuele ticket will help us to break the one-party rule in Trenton and bring much-needed relief to New Jersey taxpayers.”
