The suspect in the murder of a federal judge’s son yesterday has taken his own life, two sources told the New Jersey Globe.
The man, still unidentified, was a disgruntled attorney who had appeared before before U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas.
The man, apparently dressed as a Federal Express delivery driver, shot and killed the judge’s 20-year-old son, Daniel Anderl, early Sunday evening at the family home in North Brunswick.
Mark Anderl, the judge’s husband, was also shot. He remains in critical but stable condition at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Law enforcement investigating the shooting has not commented on the identification of the suspect.
Story is developing.
