Scott Salmon, a prominent Democratic election lawyer and counsel to Steve Fulop’s gubernatorial campaign, has been named as an equity partner in a North Jersey law firm rebranded as Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser.
The firm is headed by Tom Jardim, a former Westfield mayor.
Salmon will chair the firm’s election group and co-chair the government representation group. He sought the Democratic nomination for Congress in 2018, but dropped out of the race to support Tom Malinowski; he later served as Malinowski’s campaign and personal attorney. His municipal clients include Cranford, Hillside, Lambertville, and Teaneck.
Jessica Ragno Sprague, who serves as counsel to the Passaic County Republican organization, will also be an equity partner and chair the family and matrimonial group. She served as president of the Passaic County Bar Association from 2019 to 2020.

The 19-lawyer firm, formerly Jardim Meisner & Susser, has offices in Florham Park, Tinton Falls, and New York City.
