Oliver Tribute: Al Barlas

Essex County Republican Chairman Al Barlas released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:

“Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver had a lot of “firsts” during her distinguished career in public service, but first and foremost she was a ferocious advocate for her constituents. She was devoted her hometown of East Orange and the residents of Essex County and New Jersey. Today, the state lost a trailblazer who gave selflessly for causes she believed in, and may her family know that the Lt. Governor left a lasting mark on the lives of so many in our state. Rest in peace, Lt. Governor.”
