Three Burlington County Democrats endorsed First Lady Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate just as their county party organization begins a convention that Rep. Andy Kim (D-Moorestown) is expected to win.
“Tammy Murphy is the only candidate who will be a true champion for New Jersey’s families. Her extensive experience and dedication to working with families across our state is unparalleled, ” said Evesham Councilwomen Ginamarie Espinoza and Pat Hansen, and retired labor leader Jim Kehoe, a county committeeman from Mount Laurel. “From protecting reproductive freedoms of all women to standing up to the gun lobby so our children don’t fear going to school, we know that Tammy will be the strong and effective leader we urgently need in the Senate.”
Kehoe is a former president of the South Jersey Building Trades, the Vice President of the South Jersey AFL-CIO, and the president of the New Jersey Pipe Trades union.
