Zina Spezakis, who is mounting a challenge from the left against Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson) in the 9th district Democratic primary, raised $24,210 during the first quarter of 2020 and has $62,833 in her campaign account.
Spezakis has raised a total of $184,569 since entering the race last year and has spent $121,736, including $4,986 since January 1.
The green energy investor has loaned $116,939 to her campaign, including $8,783 this year.
Another Pascrell primary challenger, Alp Basaran, has $1,343 still left in his campaign account after raising $78,581 – including a $50,000 person loan.
Pascrell, who is seeking re-election to his 13th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, has not yet released his first quarter fundraising numbers.
