Sires spent $561,722 defending solidly Democratic seat

Rep. Albio Sires (D-West New York) raised $73,228 between Oct. 15 and Nov. 23, according to campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

The figures bring his fundraising for the cycle to $611,120. He spent $15,611 over the roughly five-week period, bringing his total spent to $561,722.

He finished the race with $229,083 in his war chest.

Jason Mushnik, Sires’s Republican challenger, never filed any reports with the FEC.
