U.S. Senator Cory Booker has solid statewide job approvals of 53%-40% among registered voters in New Jersey, a new Monmouth University Poll shows.

His approvals are up six points from a Monmouth Poll released in August that put him at 47%-40%.

Among Democrats, Booker is at 89%-6%.  He’s at 42%-51% among independents and 16%-75% among Republicans.   He’s at 48%-46% among men, 57%-34% among women, 50%-44% among white voters, and 55%-36% among voters of color in his home state.

Booker is not up for re-election until 2026 in a state that hasn’t elected a Republican to the United States Senate since 1972.

He is considered a likely candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028.

The Monmouth University poll was conducted from February 29-March 4 with a sample size of 757 registered voters and a margin of error of +/- 4.3%.
