New Jersey Right to Life, the state’s most influential grassroots pro-life organization, has recommended that Republican primary voters cast their votes for Justin Michael Murphy for U.S> Senate.

Murphy is a former Tabernacle deputy mayor and is one of four candidates in the race, including Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner and hotelier Curtis Bashaw.

Rep. Christopher Smith (R-Manchester), who served as executive director of New Jersey Right to Life before his election to Congress in 1980, again received the endorsement of his old employer.

NJRTL either endorses or recommends candidates.

In the 3rd district, the group endorsed Greg Sobocinski, but also recommended Shirley Maia-Cusick.   They recommended Mary Jo Guinchard in the 5th and Carmen Bucco in the 10th, and endorsed Raafat Barsoom in the 11th.
