Former Assemblyman Christopher Brown (R-Evesham) endorsed David Richter’s third-district House bid Friday.

“As we have gotten closer to the end of this primary election, it has become clearer to me that David Richter is the best candidate in this race and our best chance to defeat Andy Kim in November,” Brown said.  “David’s business experience creating jobs right here in Evesham Township is exactly what we need in Congress helping to rebuild our economy and bring back the jobs we so desperately need right now.”

Brown, who represented the Burlington-centric eighth legislative district for two terms starting in 2012, is the second legislator from rival Kate Gibbs’ home county to endorse Richter in Recent weeks.

Former Assemblywoman Maria Rodriguez-Gregg (R-Evesham) endorsed Richter last month. She represented the eighth while Gibbs sat on Burlington’s freeholder board.

“I just want to thank Chris for his support and I am honored to have received his endorsement,” Richter said.
