Crispi gets backing of Republican Liberty Caucus

By David Wildstein, March 16 2022 2:21 pm

The Republican Liberty Caucus has endorsed Mike Crispi for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th district.

The group had close ties to Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and backed his bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

“It’s a true honor to earn the endorsement of the RLC – particularly at time when our individual rights have under vicious assault by statists like Joe Biden and Phil Murphy, bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci and Judy Persichilli, and their allies in woke corporations and the lemming media,Crispi said.

Crispi, a conservative podcaster, is one of six candidates challenging 21-term Rep. Christopher Smith (R-Manchester) in the Republican primary, along with Englishtown Councilman Daniel Francisco, U.S. Army veteran Mike Blasi, attorney David Burg, retired FBI agent Steve Gray, and perennial candidate Tricia Flanagan.

His campaign is being run by Republican strategist Roger Stone.

Smith has won organization lines in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
