Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden) and Montclair State University political science professor Brigid Callahan Harrison joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power Hour on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday, May 1.
Norcross was elected to Congress in 2014 after serving in the New Jersey State Senate and General Assembly. He is a former president of the South Jersey AFL-CIO. Norcross chairs the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces and is a member of the Education and Labor and Science, Space & Technology Committees.
Norcross and Wildstein spoke of his experiences at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 and President Joe Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress this week. .
Harrison has taught at Montclair State University since 1994 and is the author of several textbooks on American Democracy and Women in American Politics. She is the president of the New Jersey Political Science Association.
Wildstein asked Harrison about the upcoming Democratic primary for State Senate in the 37th district and about former Gov. Chris Christie’s plans to seek the presidency in 2024.
