Ciattarelli ad hits Sherrill on electricity costs

A new TV ad for the Republican candidate for governor, Jack Ciattarelli, slams Democrat Mikie Sherrill for supporting “clean power” as a way of lowering electricity costs in New Jersey.

Sherrill is shown in a video clip saying, “It’s going to cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person, you’ll do it.”

Ciattarelli uses the ad to double down on his support of lowering property tax and electricity bills, and cutting the income tax.

Script: “(Mikie Sherrill) We need to move into clean power. It’s going to cost you an arm and a leg, but if you’re a good person, you’ll do it. (Jack Ciattarelli) Unbelievable. Talk about out of touch. I’m Jack Ciattarelli. Politicians like Mikie Sherrill and Phil Murphy just don’t get it. They’re making New Jersey unaffordable, especially for the middle class. We need a change. My plan brings down property taxes, lowers electricity bills, and cuts your income taxes, because you should keep more of what you earn. It’s time to fix New Jersey. When I’m governor, we will.”
